St Clair

St Clair is the first major project for Habitat Development Group in Birtinya and is also the largest by way of yield at just over 200 apartments within two 8-storey towers. The generous site area overlooking Lake Kawana also features an unprecedented extent of communal open space with the towers set well back from the street creating a vast corridor of private parkland and room for a resort style pool, bbq facilities and more. A two level basement covering two-thirds of the site was a huge feat of construction in very challenging soil conditions and well below the ground water table level. The result however is a development with fantastic connection to the ground plane & landscaping with parking seamlessly integrated underground (unlike Market Lane & Corso developments in Maroochydore where all parking is in podium levels / above ground).

The curved building forms are also a first for Habitat giving the development its soft signature aesthetic as carried through in surrounding entry structures and the rooftop terrace. At the upper levels and rooftop, expansive views from the coastline to the east and glasshouse mountains to the west are spectacular. There are no inferior apartments in the complex even at the lower levels, with all east facing units overlooking the lake and the west side units overlooking the expansive communal garden and pool. Beautiful natural light and views of the lake / coast are afforded to the lift lobby on all levels on both towers adding even greater amenity for all residents on a daily basis.
