The Millwell

The Millwell is the third major project for Habitat Development Group in Maroochydore and their largest to date with 205 apartments, 1000msq+ of commercial tenancy, and a resort swimming pool & wellness retreat at the rooftop. It is ideally located adjoining The Sunshine Plaza shopping centre and fronting Cornmeal Creek which connects to the Maroochy River and Cotton Tree. Unlike the previous two developments all residential parking is contained within basement levels requiring major construction coordination (again due to the sites proximity with a natural waterway and below the natural water table).

The key location of this project is a ‘gateway’ to Maroochydore and underwent rigorous scrutiny from the highest levels of council to display exemplary architectural design. Curved balconies and balustrade details give the development its unique aesthetics and will set this building apart from any other in the region. The rooftop pool will also be the first of its scale and kind on the Sunshine Coast providing the residents an elevated level of amenity surpassing that of previous developments. The rooftop will also be able to be enjoyed by the general public incorporating a commercially operated wellness retreat venue.
